Who is your role model?

My coaches have been, and currently are, hugely impactful in my life. They have always taken care of me on and off the court. They have pushed me to my absolute limit and made me realize my true potential. I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. I will miss them a lot next year.
/

Do you have a Pre-Game Ritual?

I have to listen to music to get pumped up. The team has quite a few hilarious (and ridiculous) rituals... One of which is a rap that I do with my teammate: the one, the only, Jenna Priest.
/

Favorite Motto, Saying or Quote:

  Everything happens for a reason.
/

Where would you like to travel?

Europe, specifically Spain, Italy, and France.
/

What are your future plans?
(College, major, etc.)

I am going to play D-I basketball at the United States Air Force Academy. I'll study either molecular biology or behavioral science on a pre-med track. After graduation and commissioning as an officer in the Air Force, I want to go to medical school and become an orthopedic surgeon. I then want to treat veterans injured in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

/

What is your basketball history:
(age started playing, grade, team, etc.)

I've been playing forever. I started rec league in 2nd grade and AAU when I was about 10. In high school, I've played on the varsity team since my freshman year.
/

What is your favorite part of practice?

Blitz!
/

What is your least favorite part of practice?

  Conditioning, duh.
/

What do think is your strongest basketball skill?

Post work and my outside shot
/

What do think you can improve on?

  Everything
/

What lessons in life has basketball taught you?

Excuses and a poor attitude will take you absolutely nowhere. You have to look inside of yourself and be able to draw strength from positive thinking and determination.
/

Can you describe yourself in one word?

Driven
